Summary:
You may encounter a situation where you are unable to submit your timesheet because your assignment appears to be closed, completed, or ended in Ascen — even though you have hours to submit. This article explains what to do in that situation.
Overview:
If your assignment has been marked as complete or closed in Ascen and you are unable to enter your time, there are a couple of possible scenarios:
1. Your assignment ended but you still have hours to submit.
If your assignment end date has passed but you worked hours that still need to be recorded, you will not be able to enter time directly in Ascen. In this case, please contact the Ascen support team and provide the following details for each day you need to submit:
Date
Clock-in time
Clock-out time
Break times (start and end)
The Ascen team will enter and approve those hours on your behalf.
2. Your assignment end date in the system is incorrect.
If the end date listed in Ascen does not match your actual last day of work, please reach out to the Ascen support team. They can review your assignment and correct the end date so you can submit your remaining hours.
3. You received an unexpected "assignment ended" notification.
In some cases, a duplicate assignment may have been created in the system and subsequently closed, triggering an erroneous notification. If you believe your assignment is still active but received an end-of-assignment email, please contact Ascen support to verify your assignment status.
If you are unsure which scenario applies to you, reach out to the Ascen support team at support.ascen.com and they will be happy to assist.
