Why don't I see my manually entered timesheet in the current pay period?
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Applies to: Workers who submit timesheets for hourly work — W-2 employees, independent contractors, and international workers alike. If your hours were entered manually (by HR or support staff on your behalf), they can post to a previous pay period rather than the current one; this article shows where to find them.
If your timesheet entries were submitted on your behalf by HR or support staff, they may not appear in your current pay period view. This is expected behavior when hours are entered manually into the Ascen system.
Check Previous Pay Periods
When timesheets are entered manually, they may be recorded under a previous pay period rather than the current one. To locate your entries:
Log in to the Ascen system and navigate to your timesheet view.
Look for an option to browse or navigate to previous pay periods.
Review the prior pay period that corresponds to the dates your hours were worked.
Need Help Submitting Your Hours?
If you are unable to log into the timesheet system or enter your hours directly, contact your HR or support team and provide the following details to ensure accurate manual entry:
The date(s) you worked
Your shift start and end times
Any break periods taken
Your total hours worked
Your assignment or job details
Providing complete and accurate information will help ensure your hours are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
