My upcoming paycheck shows "pending" — will I get paid?

Summary: Yes — "pending" is normal. A paycheck shows as pending in the days before payday; it's processed and deposited on Friday (Thursday when a bank holiday falls on Friday).

Seeing "pending" on an upcoming paycheck just means it's been created and is queued for its payday — it hasn't been sent yet. It will process and deposit on Friday as usual. After it's sent, how soon it lands in your account depends on your bank.
