Does Ascen provide healthcare benefits?

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Applies to: Employees in the US and Canada. What's available depends on where you work.

Yes — eligible employees on assignment can receive benefits. Exactly what's offered depends on your work location:

US employees

As a large employer, Ascen offers a range of benefits to eligible US employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D coverage, supplemental insurance options, and a 401(k) retirement plan. This is available to all US employees who are eligible.

To be eligible, you must be actively working and meet the applicable plan requirements — the main medical plan requires you to work full-time (at least 30 hours per week). During onboarding you'll receive benefits information outlining the available plans, eligibility, enrollment, and any costs that apply. See the related articles below for plan details and how to enroll.

Canada employees

If you're employed in Canada, the benefits available to you depend on your assignment's setup. Check the benefits information provided during onboarding, or ask your staffing agency, to confirm what's offered on your assignment.

Employees outside the US and Canada

If you work outside the US or Canada, benefits are handled through your in-country process — your in-country HR specialist will provide the details that apply where you work. If you're not sure who to contact, email support@ascen.com.
