How do I view Invoices?

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Summary: Go to Finance → Invoices to see every invoice in a searchable, filterable list. Click any invoice number to open its full detail. For aging, line-item, and other detailed invoice reports, use Finance → Reports.

Where to find invoices

In the left-hand menu, go to Finance → Invoices. You'll land on the invoice list — every invoice for your account, which you can search and filter (see below).

Filtering and searching

Above the list you can narrow to exactly what you're looking for. You can filter by:

  • Search — invoice ID or number

  • Client (and, if you manage more than one, Partner)

  • Status — draft, open, paid, void, payment processing, and the other lifecycle states

  • Type of invoice

  • Amount — minimum and/or maximum

  • Created date — a from/to range

  • Purchase order, work location, or assignment

  • A specific timesheet, expense, or payroll run

  • Whether the invoice was sent to the payer

Reading the list

Each row shows the key facts at a glance:

  • Number — click it to open the invoice detail.

  • Client — who's being billed.

  • Period — the timesheet period the invoice covers (start–end date).

  • Status — where the invoice is in its lifecycle. Open means issued but not yet paid; Paid means settled. Other states include draft, payment processing, and void.

  • Amount and remaining amount — the total billed and how much is still outstanding.

  • Due date, created date, and (once settled) paid date.

Opening an invoice

Click the invoice number to open its detail page, where you can see the line items, adjustments, associated timesheets/expenses, and payment status, and download the PDF.

Invoice reports (aging, line items, and more)

The Invoices list is for finding and opening individual invoices. For reporting — aging, invoice line items, and other breakdowns you can filter and export — go to Finance → Reports. There you'll find reports such as:

  • Invoice Aging (including grouped and by-transaction versions) — outstanding balances bucketed by how overdue they are, so you can see where the risk sits and export it.

  • Invoice Line Items — a line-by-line breakdown across invoices.

  • Invoice Report — a summary report across invoices.

Open a report, apply the filters and date range you want, and export it (CSV) — some reports can also be scheduled to email your team on a recurring basis.
